হস্তরেখা বিষয়ক অন্যান্য পুস্তকাদির সঙ্গে তুলনা করলেই বোঝা যাবে যে, আলোচ্য গ্রন্থটি স্বাবাবিকভাবেই একটি অনন্যসাধারণ পুস্তক।এই পুস্তকের মাধ্যমে প্রাচ্য ও পাশ্চাত্যের হস্তরেখা বিষয়ক সমুদয় জ্ঞান ভাণ্ডারকে সর্বসাধারণের কাছে সহজ ও সরলভাবে উপস্থাপিত করা হয়েছে।দেবরোল, কিরো, বেনহাম এবং সেন্ট জারমান প্রভৃতি বিশ্ববিখ্যাত হস্তরেখাবিদ্গণের তথ্যাদি যেমন তুলে ধরা হয়েছে, তেমনি ভারতীয় মনীষীদের দুষ্প্রাপ্য পাণ্ডুলিপি থেকে সংগৃহীত তথ্যাদিও উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে।

কিরো তাঁর “Language of Hand” নামক বিশ্ববিখ্যাত পুস্তকের ভূমিকায় ভারতীয় একটি দুষ্প্রাপ্য পাণ্ডুলিপি সম্পর্কে লিখেছেন: ' It may be interesting to describe here, in as few words as possible, an extremely ancient and curious book on the markings of the hands, that I was allowed to use and examine during my sojurn in India. This book was one of the greatest treasure of the few Brahmins who possessed and under stood it and was jealously guarded it in one of those old cave temples that belongs to the ruins of ancient Hindusthan. This strange book was made of human skin pieced and put together in most ingenious manner. It was of enormous size, and contained hundreds of well-known illustrations, with records of how, when, and where this or that mark was proved correct.'

এই গ্রন্থটিতে দুষ্প্রাপ্য পাণ্ডুলিপি থেকে বহু তথ্য উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে এবং তিন শতাধিক রেখাচিত্রের মাধ্যমে হস্তরেখা বিষয়ক সার্বিক তথ্যাদি পরিবেশন করা হয়েছে।তাই নিঃসন্দেহে বলা যায় গ্রন্থটি অনন্যসাধারণ।
