About the Book: Vedic Astrology and Krishnamurti Padhdhati (Vedic and KP Astrology) KALACHAKRA DASA SYSTEM AND STELLAR ASTROLOGY.  The dasa system used in Hindu Astrology for timing events is many of which the one accepted most widely by the learned astrologers of yore is the Mahadasa, by which is meant the Ududasa (Vimsottari) of the venerable sage Parasara. We have seen earlier that the other two dasa systems in common use are the Ashtottari system and the Kalachakra system. We have also seen the applicability of the Ashtottari system to stellar Astrology up to the constellational level in an earlier article. In this article, we shall illustrate the application of the Kalachakra system to stellar Astrology up to the constellational level again. If the sub lord theory of KP were to be tested on the Kalachakra system, the constellations have to be divided into subs in the proportion and sequence of dasa ords as envisaged in the Kalachakra method, which is fairly intricate.
